Enables the radio to
automatically adjust its transmitter power level (on the voice channel,
not on the control channel) based on the signal strength of the APA LC
(Auto Power Adaptation Link Control) information received over the air.
If the signal strength is better than the acceptable threshold, the radio
will then transmit in mid power instead of high power. This selection
applies for the current Trunking
System.
When the Tx Power Level field is not set to "Low", and
when the radio is model / option capable.
